PRE-WAX care
- NO SHAVING for 3 weeks prior to your waxing. The hair should be at least 0.5mm
- Gently exfoliate 24-48hrs prior to your waxing.
- Avoid sunbathing or sauna for a minimum of 24 hours prior to your service. Waxing services will not be performed if any redness due to sun exposure is present on the skin.
- There are certain medications commonly used topically and orally that may be contraindicated for waxing. If you have any medical conditions, please consult with us beforehand.
POST-WAX care
- Wear loose comfortable clothing to prevent irritation on your skin after waxing.
- Avoid exercise, use hot tubs or spas, engage in sexual activity(if waxed in the bikini area), or participate in any other activities that will expose the area to sweat and/or bacteria for up to 24 hours after waxing.
- Avoid sun exposure for a minimum of 24 hours.
- Begin exfoliating 48 hours after your wax or until the tenderness subsides. Continue to exfoliate 3 times per week to minimize the presence of ingrown hairs.
- Book a return visit every four weeks to lessen the pain associated with hair removal.
PRE-EYEBROW WAX care
- Make sure your eyebrow hair has grown out. NO SHAVING/PLUCKING at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment.
- Stop using retinoid(Vitamin A) product minimum of 3 days(recommended 5-7 days depending on the strength) prior to your treatment. Confirm with your dermatologist if it was a prescribed product.
- Recommended to wait at least 7 days after chemical peel treatment. Best to confirm with your physician before you make a booking.
- Avoid sunbathing or sauna for a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment.

POST-EYEBROW WAX care
- Avoid exercise or anything that makes you sweat, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight for the following 24 hours
- Avoid using makeup around the brow area for the following 24 hours
- Avoid exfoliating and using anti-aging products / active ingredients product around the brow area for at least two to three days post-treatment.
- Do not pluck or tweeze in-between appointments. Recommended booking a return visit every 3 - 4 weeks.
PRE-LASH LIFT care
- Please come with dry, clean lashes and makeup-free eyes.
- Remove contact lenses before your appointment
- Avoid caffeine, as this can cause fluttering and twitching of the eye.
- If you have any of the following, please reschedule your appointment. Dry eye, glaucoma, chemotherapy, difficulty opening or closing the eye fully, watery eyes, sensitive skin/eyes, recent facial surgery, facial skin infections, eye infections, eye cysts, styes, or claustrophobia, pregnant, nursing
POST-LASH LIFT care
- Avoid Moisture, excess steam and water for the first 24hours.
- Do not use shampoos, conditioners, makeups, creams, eye serums or oils on the lashes or around the eye are for first 24 hours
- Avoid using a strong eye makeup remover for 48 hours
- Try sleeping on your back for the first night to avoid lashes dropping on the outer corner
- Use at-home treatments to help to keep your lashes conditioned and nourished between lifts.
